Who Want the Smoke? Five Places in Philadelphia to Exhale With a Good Hookah!

Hookah is a gift. Seriously. There is never a time that I am not in the mood to hook, whether with friends, family, coworkers, you name it (am I corny for that reference?). We've culminated a listing of the top five places to pass the hookah in Philadelphia, and they should come to no surprise if you're in the city!

💨 DISCLAIMER - all hookah venues require patrons to be at least 18 years of age. We are by no means promoting tobacco use, use at your own risk. 💨

ABSOLUTELY my FAVORITE place to hookah in the city! Always great hookah, incredible music, and the food is INSANELY good! This place is always packed but always a guaranteed great time. Now I do have to mention that as amazing as this place is, it is difficult to get seating, especially on weekend nights, so I’d be wary of wearing your best Louboutin or Balenciaga (I heard they hurt your feet too!), just be prepared for the chance to stand if you do choose to go here.

This...place...is...perfect! Not only do they have great hookah but the atmosphere is more of a chill lounge that can be appropriate for a casual night watching the game, or grown and sexy upscale events, the food is so good AND everything is reasonably priced! They have a wide variety of food options available but my favs have been any of their seafood dishes, and the 312 Punch is a MUST HAVE!

If you’ve never been to Vango, I would highly recommend it! This is a club but it is such an aesthetically pleasing venue! The atmosphere alone would be worth the visit, with their color changing chandelier and their Asian inspired decor. If the weather permits you can head to the rooftop for additional dancing, the lounge, and for hookah, but you’ll need a drink in hand if you want to head upstairs without paying an additional cover charge!

This is a staple venue for a great time in the city. Whether you want to go dancing or just have a chill evening out, Bleu Martini is definitely a go-to. They have a great hookah and the music is always an amazing mix of old school and newer hits that everyone can enjoy. Even though this is a night club, you can totally enjoy a hookah and some food during the day as well! The cost of the hookah does increase on weekends, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a good time in the city!

Or you could buy your own! Hookahs are reasonably priced and rather than spending the money to enjoy out and about, you can totally purchase your own for your personal hosting event! We got this one from Amazon for about the cost of a night out, and now we don’t have to spend the money again, see this link to shop for a similar one to ours!

Was our judgement too cloudy, and did we fail to mention your favorite place to smoke shisha in the city? Let me know in the comments on my insta @alexispjordan!
